Jaguar XE Hatchback First Drive Review

Jaguar XE Test Drive

Jaguar XE Overview

Jaguars are known for their opulence, besides a great deal of sportiness. So when Jaguar introduced their smallest cat yet, it had big shoes to fill, especially with its bigger brothers being the XJ and the F-Type. And it did that quite well with the powerful 2.0-litre petrol engine that it was launched with. And now a diesel mill has also hit the roads, the Ingenium 2.0-litre, that will ring in the numbers for Jaguar because of its economies. So, we head out in the baby Jag, the top-spec Portfolio trim at that, to find out if it turns out to be a real ‘Jaguar’.

Jaguar XE Style

Jaguar XE has an agile look and is designed to make it a head turner when it is driven on the road. Jaguar XE features include a length of 4795mm and a width of 2075mm and come with body colored bumpers. The engine grill has a beautiful perforated design that is bordered with a chromium strip and the logo of the company inscribed in the middle. The headlight cluster is big and powerful and are equipped with halogen lamps for the Pure trim whereas, the Portfolio trim is equipped with bi-functional HID Xenon headlamps along with headlamp power wash function. To cool the powerful engine quickly, it has a big black color perforated air dam along with two black color air vents to dry the brakes.

Looking at its side profile, you will notice silver encrusted air vents, body colored ORVM caps (with integrated turn lamps) and door handles along with uniquely designed fenders, which houses 17-inch silver alloy rims mounted by tubeless radial tyres. The rear profile of this car reinforces the athletic look of its front. Jaguar XE Colors available in the market include, Ebony Black and Polaris White. If you want more variety, then you have to pay for some other colors like Ammonite Grey, Blue Fire, British Racing Green, Dark Sapphire Metallic, Glacier White, Italian racing Red, Odyssey Red, Osmium Blue, Quartzite, Rhodium Silver, Ultimate Black, Black Cherry, Celestial Black, Ingot, Storm Grey, and Tempest Grey.

Jaguar XE Space

Given that one of the XE’s main selling points is looks, it does not disappoint in the cabin. You get a speedboat style cowl running across both ends of the dashboard while the beige and black colour scheme present both on the upholstery and plastics does well to up the premium factor in the cabin. Of particular notice is the ‘Theater of dreams’ floating gear knob which pulsates when it rises from the dashboard as you start the car. To know more information on Jaguar XE visit Aryavarta

In terms of features you get everything that is standard in the segment like dual-zone climate control with dual rear vents, electric seats (sans lumbar support), instrument cluster with digital display cruise control and a touchscreen infotainment system with smart phone integration and downloadable apps. The infotainment system has all the requisite features to put it on par with its rivals, but still lacks the finesse of its German counterparts.

The front seats offer good bolstering and thanks to the soft leather, you can sink right in and devour the kilometres on the highway as you go along. However, the rear seats are a different story as they feel inadequate especially, for a six-footer like me – a fact enhanced by the sloping roofline that eats into the head room. In fact, a larger person would have to angle their head in an odd way during ingress and egress to get around lack of head space.

Jaguar XE Performance

Let us talk about performance now. Jaguars are meant to be leaping forward and also be agile and the XE does that quite well thanks to the robust diesel mill. The engine in question here is the Ingenium 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel four-banger that pumps out 177bhp of power. And it is the whopping 430Nm of torque and the eight-speed gearbox that create all the magic. With the torque kicking in from as low as 1700rpm, the engine revs cleanly to over 5000rpm with the horsepower taking over the proceedings as we move up. Check car loan for Jaguar XE.

It comes with three driving modes – snow, economy and dynamic apart from the standard normal mode to suit different driving conditions and situations. In Eco mode, the gearbox upshifts quickly to the next gear, so much so that the engine revs well below 2000rpm when you have already crossed 100kmph on the speedo. Being a torque converter, you have enough go from lower revs, and once the turbo spools up, the ZF gearbox works smartly to keep the engine in the meat as far as possible. In Sport mode, the gearbox holds on to the revs even at the red-line and the gearbox responds faster when you flick the paddles. Snow mode restricts torque to avoid wheel-spin, something that would be a rare occurrence given the Indian climate.

So, with the meaty engine and the gearbox working well in tandem, you are cruising in three-figures effortlessly. The ride is pliant, soaking up almost everything. But the characteristic underlying stiffness of the suspension — designed-for-foreign-roads-and-adapted-for-India —, is evident, especially on the badly-executed concrete highways we find in India. But on tarmac, all the noise settles down for a quiet ride, bringing out the real XE.

Jaguar XE Driving

The powerful 1999 cc mill along with the 8-speed transmission gearbox gives the compact sports sedan enormous power that allows it to reach its top speed of 237 Kmph in no time. The pickup is also smooth and it crosses 100 Kmph from standstill in just 7.7 seconds. For a bump free ride, it has an advanced double wishbone suspension system for the front axle and an Independent integral link for the rear axle that keeps the car running smoothly even on uneven roads.

Jaguar XE Safety

For braking segment, Jaguar XE has powerful ventilated disc brakes for all the tyres with ABS, EBD and Brake assist. In addition, it also includes six airbags, three-point seat belts with front pyrotechnic belt tensioners and force limiters, the cornering brake control, dynamic stability as well as traction control, ISOFIX child seat mounting, run flat indicator, emergency spare wheel, and side impact protection among a host of others.

Jaguar XE Cost in Ahmedabad

Jaguar Xe On-Road Price in Ahmedabad ranges from 45,30,494 to 52,38,716 for variants XE Pure and XE Portfolio Diesel respectively. Jaguar Xe is available in 6 variants and 7 colours. Below are details of Jaguar Xe variants price in Ahmedabad. Check for Jaguar XE price in Ahmedabad at Autozhop.

Jaguar XE Conclusion

The Jaguar XE diesel actually does a pretty good job at what it is built for. It gives you a taste of the Jaguar aura of opulence and speed. It has all the bells and whistles that come standard for the segment and a cabin that reminds you of a speedboat. Add the dynamic handling of the Jaguar to the equation and top it up with the gorgeous proportions of the XE and you have a proposition that is just too attractive.

It is not that the Jaguar is unrivalled. Running interference here is the comfort-focussed Mercedes-Benz C-Class which offers a soft ride and more cabin space. The BMW 320d also works pretty well trying to find the perfect balance between ride, space and handling while the Audi A4 aims for tech and bling. So, if, making a statement and loving it is your style, the Jaguar XE is the car for you. It might not be the most spacious in its segment, nor does it have the best ride or horsepower. But then it has its own unique proposition that suits a select class of buyers who prefer a bit of style and exclusivity over downright practicality.

Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 Facelift First Drive Review

Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 Test Drive

Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 Overview

If ever there was a car that could be labelled an ‘undisputed king’, the Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 is it.

Ever since its arrival in 2012 as a modern-day equivalent of the original 800, this cutesy looking hatch has played the role of India’s favourite small car. However, what this also means is that the Alto 800 is nearly half a decade old now and that the small car goalposts have well and truly moved over that period. So much so that buyers now seek high-end convenience and as many features for as little outlay as possible. Keeping that in mind, Maruti Suzuki has given the Alto 800 a mild facelift, one that comes with a revised front-end look, reupholstered interior, couple of vibrant colours and most importantly, a more efficient engine. Check for car loan interest rate.

Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 Style

The front fascia is where the majority of the changes have been done. Rather going for the thin chrome grille with body colored slat, the carmaker has given a solid piece of plastic that neatly flows between the headlights and the airdam. Due to the updated front, the car looks wider in proportion. The headlamps cluster now features amber-colored housing for the turn indicators. The automaker has included fog lamps which were not there in the earlier model.

The side profile is similar and showcases the simple straight shoulder line. The rear end features crystal-like tail lamps and some sculpting which are carried forward from the previous model. The bumper design is also the same with the space for registration plate carved out at the bottom. Overall, there are changes at outside but to find out what’s everything new, you need to be an Alto fan.

Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 Space

One needs to bend quite a bit to get into the Alto, but once seated, you’ll appreciate how engineers liberated a decent amount of cabin space from the tight exterior dimensions. Visibility from the driver’s seat is good but the window line at the shoulder point could have been lower. Though, the Alto 800 does feel bare-basic and built to a price point, the build quality throughout the cabin is consistent. There’s space for all your knick-knacks in the centre console and it even accommodates a one-litre bottle. However, the door pads are good for documents or other slim accessories only.

On the plus side, Maruti has updated the 2016 Alto 800 with fresh fabric schemes and a new rear head-rest design. While the front seats do offer a firm and rudimentary amount of back support, they hardly propose any thigh and lateral support, and are also totally flat and devoid of any contours. The crouching position, with the low seat and high floor line can get tiring over long drives. It is the same story with the rear seats too and there’s just the elementary amount of cushioning, headroom and legroom to get the commute done with. Three adult passengers should be a tight fit here.

Variants offered by Maruti Suzuki on the Alto 800 2016 version are Std, LX, LXi and VXi. Each of these variants is now also available with an ‘O’ version, which adds a driver airbag as an extra safety feature. On the whole, features that now make to the Alto 800 2016 model are the integrated music system with two front speakers, aux and USB, an accessory socket, rear parcel tray, rear console bottle holder, remote keyless entry, driver airbag in all ‘O’ versions, and a rear door child lock. For more details on Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 check Aryavarta

Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 Performance

The 796cc petrol motor and 5-speed manual gearbox from the old car have been reserved for the facelifted model. This is the same 3-cylinder unit that’s been around for many years and in its latest application, puts out 47bhp at 6,000rpm and 69Nm of torque at 3,500rpm. That doesn’t translate into a rapid, tyre-smoking small car by any means, but the combination fares well where it matters i.e. the daily grind.

There’s considerable torque low down the rev range, so driving in stop/start traffic or overtaking within city limits is not an issue unless the car is fully loaded. The engine is not only suitably torquey in low and mid-range but also very refined – it’s comparatively less noisy under heavy acceleration than the Kwid or the Redi-Go. In fact, the Alto 800’s upper hand in performance was apparent during our small car shootout wherein it was noticeably quicker than the Kwid and the Eon, hitting the 0-100kmph mark in 17.09 seconds and taking just 13.30 seconds in 20-80kmph roll-on in third gear.

For a micro runabout, the electrically-assisted steering is a bit heavy but there’s a lot of feedback to be had. The Alto 800 handles really well for a budget small car, with the steering being decently responsive. As expected, the car requires small yet constant corrections to keep straight at highway speeds but for the most part, the steering is swift enough to feel agile and nicely weighted for that all-important reassuring feel behind the wheel. As for the ride quality, the facelifted model feels just like old car. What this means is that you get a very flat low-speed ride with minimum vertical movements over poor stretches. Make no mistake, the Alto 800 is stiffly sprung and as you up the pace you can sense sharp jolts over bumpy roads.

Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 Driving

Maruti’s Alto 800 also rolls quite a bit, and the slim tyres don’t really inspire a whole lot of confidence in one. That aside, the brakes are adequate to get the job done at reasonable speeds with an appropriate amount of feedback. At slower speeds, the ride quality with its stiff suspension setup translates into a lot of vertical movement over undulations, and bumps can be felt and heard with a jerk. Increase the speed and the car tends to ride flatter over slight undulations, but any bumps or potholes can be felt in the cabin with some uncomfortable vertical movement. In fact, driving over a series of small speed breakers (rumblers) without slowing down can get the car displaced from the intended line of motion, and needs extra caution.

Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 Safety

The braking responsibilities of Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 are well taken care of by disc brakes in the front and drum brakes at the rear. The safety features of the car include 2 airbags for the driver and co-driver. What comes as standard is the ABS with EBD, engine immobiliser, speed alert system, headlight levelling, high mounted stop lamp, speed belt reminder and reverse parking sensors. The all-new Alto 800 is offering tubeless tyres for maximum protection on any type of road. The front wipers and washer are 2 speed and intermittent for front mirror cleansing. The car also features RR seatbelts ELR type for better safety.

Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 Cost in Ahmedabad

Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 On-Road Price in Ahmedabad ranges from 3,04,978 to 4,42,867 for variants Alto 800 Standard and Alto 800 LXI CNG Optional respectively. Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 is available in 10 variants and 6 colours. Below are details of Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 variants price in Ahmedabad. Check for Maruti Alto 800 price in Ahmedabad at Autozhop.

Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 Conclusion

There’s not much persuasion needed to convince one that this segment now looks fresh thanks to the Renault Kwid and Datsun’s Redigo. Of course, Maruti’s little update job on this car may have just earned it some more time on the buyers list. However, our market is now all the more ready for products like the Kwid and Redigo, as they tick off the aspirational and emotional quotient within one. Nevertheless, the Alto 800 is a tried and tested package, with bullet-proof reliability and a predictably wide service network. But, will this be enough to retain customers or loyalists? Only time can tell.

Maruti Alto 800 is offered in 4 variants they are STD, LX, LXI, and VXI. Taking a quick glance at the pricing, its base variant is priced at Rs. 2.51 Lakh, LX trim is tagged at Rs. 2.83 Lakh while the top spec CNG LXI optional is available at the price tag of Rs. 3.78 lakh. Its mid-range, as well as the top selling variant LXI, is tagged at Rs. 3.09 lakh, all prices ex-showroom, Delhi. Maruti 800 competes against the entry-level hatchbacks including Hyundai Eon, Renault Kwid, and Datsun Redi-GO.

BMW X6 First Drive Review

BMW X6 Test Drive

BMW X6 dealer.Overview

Infused with revisions, the generation BMW X6 SUV gets bigger bragging a relatively macho stance. Although, the wheelbase has been reduced minimally by 2 mm to 1,933 mm which means an insignificantly shorter cabin. Other than the metamorphosed size, X6 gets better styled exteriors and spruced up cabin. Available only in the xDrive40d grade, the M package is offered as standard fare. Cosmetic upgrades on the outside and inside make the SUV look changed for good.BMW has also inset some advanced gadgets inside for the purpose of occupants’ entertainment. Check for HDFC car loan.

Safety wise, this Beemer is a reliable one, courtesy the raft of safety equipments incorporated inside. Mechanical strength is derived from the athletic 3.0 litre, diesel powertrain which outputs healthy power and torque figures. Performance is yet another area to watch out for, the company claimed performance numbers for the SUV are impressive. BMW price in India is placed a little higher, which brings it along the lines of priciest SUVs on offer. Get details on city specific BMW X6 price and accessories on offer at the nearest BMW X6 dealer.

BMW X6 Style

Outlandish is the first world that your brain churns when you see the new BMW X6M. The grand proportions of muscles and contours flowing all over this jacked up coupe inspired vehicle ditch the conventionally boring straights and squares of an orthodox SUV design.Bold and brash is the front profile with large headlights further accentuating its menacing presence. The larger kidney grille gets a bright surround and also features vertical slats along with a camera nicely slotted under the model label. The long and contoured hood features character lines that drop a hint of the beasty of a motor underneath it. The front bumper looks interestingly complicated with multiple scoops and fog lamps. These air pockets lend a visual appeal for sure as they look capable of swallowing a hatchback but also offer functional value to help cool the motor inside. For more info on BMW X6  check Aryavarta

While the front face is similar to that of the X5M, the X6M is a tad wider in profile. However, the similarities end at the face itself because when you see the X6M along its length, it looks like no other vehicle with its sloping roofline which flows in an angular way from the front before merging with the shot and butch rear. The shoulder line remains strong as it climbs all the way to the rear.It being a vehicle of larger dimensions doesn’t look bulky at all. The contrasting combination of a SUVish car with a sedan like window line gives it an amazing silhouette. Also, adding an important touch to the rear half is a strong profile line which highlights the rear wheel arch, breaking the mono flow on the wedge line running along the shoulder.

This one too runs on M special 20-inch wheels with Pirelli PZero tyres; they look absolutely smashing especially with the five spoke machined finish on the alloys. The rocker molding on the lower half are placed lower on the M models and blend well with the side skirts.

BMW X6 Space

Once inside, you witness a cabin which is very typical of a BMW vehicle, with the layout being very common among its sibling. You do however get twin AC vents on the right most and left most side of the dashboard. Cabin quality is almost faultless with fit and finish levels being truly phenomenal. The dashboard gets a dark wood insert while the glovebox is very different, it’s not the usual pull down type and instead there is a button below the AC vent which opens a rather small glove box. However there are plenty of storage bins inside the cabin, including one below the centre arm rest. The instrument cluster is easy to read and you also get a heads-up display which shows the speed in your line of sight.

The seats of the BMW X6 are simply fantastic, offering terrific support all around. With the luxury package, one can get special comfort seats which have active seat ventilation, heating and lumbar support. The cabin feels rich in every way and there is plenty of space for four adults. Legroom is good and headroom is decent but a fifth passenger just won’t be able to sit because the sloping roof has cabin lights in the centre, thereby comprising on headroom of the fifth passenger. There is a small storage area on each side of the rear seat. The BMW X6 features a 4-zone climate control and also has an LCD screen for rear seat passengers (placed right behind the front arm rest) which plays multiple video formats including AUX and DVD. The doors which have wood, leather and aluminium on them are heavy but you don’t have to take much effort to close them as they have a suction mechanism which pulls them back into closed position.

The iDrive system shows an array of data, including torque distribution on each wheel. There are quite a few cameras including 360-degree view. Off-road cameras are placed on either side of the front bumper, while three cameras are placed on the roof to show what’s around you. There is a reverse camera as well with directional marking which is important as rear visibility is poor due to the small rear windshield. The multimedia system has navigation which is quite accurate. Right below the audio system are buttons for the cameras, traction control, boot opening, etc. The boot opens electronically and shuts down with a touch of a button. There is a charging port inside the boot, probably to power your portable refrigerator. There is good amount of boot space but the sloping roof does compromise on the trunk’s carrying capacity to a certain extent.

BMW X6 Engine

BMW offers the X6 in India with a petrol and diesel engine which offer excellent performance. The xDrive50i produces 407 HP of power and 600 Nm of torque from its 4.4-litre V8 unit, enabling it to sprint from 0-100 km/hr in just 5.4 seconds. We drove the xDrive40d variant which uses a 3.0-litre flat-6 unit to output 306 HP and 600 Nm. Performance is urgent with a tap on the accelerator pedal pulling the X6 quite strongly to high speeds. Power delivery is quite linear with turbolag well contained. 0-100 km/hr takes 6.5 seconds with the top speed being limited to 250 km/hr.

Even though the BMW X6 is quite heavy, performance is effortless and the mammoth amount of torque really helps in keeping the X6 on the prowl without losing breath even at high RPMs. Redline comes in at 5100 RPM and this motor is simply smashing when it comes to NVH levels, making a sporty hiss when you whip the throttle. Mated to a 8-speed gearbox, the X6 has quick shifts which can be manually controlled via either the joystick gearlever or the steering mounted paddle shifts. Shifting into Sports mode makes the vehicle even more eager and holds the gears longer. It even blips the throttle on downshifts, making the X6 quite fun to drive. Expect a mileage of 7-8 km/l in the city.

BMW X6 Driving

BMW’s are known to be driving machines, the X6’s weight tries to make an exception here. With significant amount of weight under its belly, the X6’s heaviness is felt at high speeds and it has quite a bit of body roll. The vehicle gets bouncy on bad roads and the run flat tyres really don’t help matters much. Surprisingly this BMW has a space saver spare wheel but still BMW has opted for run flat tyres, which do end up spoiling the ride quality to a certain extent. The vehicle is on the stiffer side but still glides on good roads, only to be unsettled on large bumps. BMW doesn’t offer mode selection on this variant of the X6 and you can’t choose between Comfort or Sport, surprising.

High speed stability is excellent and although it’s not as sharp as other BMWs, its still much ahead of its key rivals (from the SUV segment). The steering is a delight and has immense feel and feedback. It isn’t much heavy at low speeds but as you go faster, the steering simply comes into its own, offering a very tactile feel to the drive. Brakes are very sure footed and have terrific stopping power, with the pedal feel being extremely positive. The X6 has good off-road ability and can easily traverse most terrains, thereby offering an splendid balance of good on and off-road driving.

BMW X6 Safety

Among the safety features on offing six airbags, stability control, traction control, dynamic stability control including dynamic traction control, cornering brake control, side impact protection, engine vehicle immobilizer, crash sensor and hill descent control are included.

BMW X6 Cost in Ahmedabad

Bmw X6 On-Road Price in Ahmedabad ranges from 1,04,45,560 to 1,96,86,001 for variants X6 xDrive 35i M Sport and X6 M STD respectively. Bmw X6 is available in 2 variants and 9 colours. Below are details of Bmw X6 variants price in Ahmedabad. Check for BMW X6 price in Ahmedabad at Autozhop.

BMW X6 Conclusion

The BMW X6 might loose out on headroom and boot space against the X5, but it offers an unparalleled level of desirability. While it sure is expensive, it’s a very different and unique body style which is attracting many people to the vehicle. The X6 has carved out such a niche that others are now following with their own offerings (Mercedes and Audi). If you want an SUV which drives well, performs brilliantly and looks out of this world, then the BMW X6 is your only choice today.

Volkswagen Polo GT First Drive Review

Volkswagen Polo GT Test Drive

Volkswagen Polo GT Overview

Without doubt, the Volkswagen Polo GT TSI is the best automatic hatchback in our country today. The Polo with the fantastic TSI engine is such a hoot to drive that any petrol-head would want to get one. The car stirred up quite a lot of excitement when it was launched last year and now Volkswagen has given it a minor facelift, in-line with what the other Polo models have received in India. Unlike the diesel powered Polos, the petrol powered GT TSI doesn’t get any mechanical changes and the hot hatch soldiers on with the same powertrain which is as impressive as ever. Apply car loan for Volkswagen Polo GT.

Volkswagen Polo GT Style

The Polo GT TSI looks almost identical to the Polo GT TDI. The only difference is the TSI badge on the boot and GT TSI stickers on the C-pillars. The alloy wheels differentiate the GT models from the regular Polo and the performance oriented variants also get black outside rearview mirrors and a black rear spoiler. There is also a GT badge on the right side of the front grille. Compared to the old GT, the new TSI looks fresher thanks to the revised front-end with the addition of chrome elements. This car simply doesn’t want to age and still looks as fresh as a daisy.

Volkswagen Polo GT Space

The GT TSI shares its interiors with the GT TDI so you get an all black interior which gels well with the sporty theme. Quality is excellent and so is the overall feel inside the cabin. The piano black finish on the centre console, silver outlines around the AC vents and the 3-spoke flat bottom steering wheel are the big highlights in the cabin. The GT also gets aluminium pedals and the seats are very supportive too, so driving this car is a pleasure. In fact, other than the lack of rear seat room, there is no fault with the cabin of the Volkswagen Polo, everything is almost perfect. Small details like the one touch up/down for all power windows, large and easy to read fonts for the MID and doors which shut with a reassuring thud go a long way to make the Polo stand out from its rivals, the GT models having no direct competition anyways.

Volkswagen Polo GT Performance

Volkswagen is betting big on downsizing the world over and the Polo GT TSI uses one of those engines which are part of this strategy. The 1.2-litre TSI mill is insanely awesome and needs little introduction, we had a gala of a time with our long term Vento TSI. The turbocharged mill thrusts out 105 PS at 5000 RPM and 175 Nm between 1500-4100 RPM, with those kind of torque numbers, the GT TSI puts even bigger petrol engines to shame. Start the engine and you will be spellbound by the NVH or rather the lack of it. The powerplant is so refined, there is absolutely nothing to be heard. In spite of that, the motor is very quick to make progress, it has a fantastic punch in all parts of the powerband – low, mid and top although top-end rush could have been better.

Driving the car in the city is a relaxing ordeal, the motor is quick to respond when you need it and the 7-speed DSG automatic transmission works its magic to keep the vehicle in the right cog at all times. When driven sedately, there is no hint of the forced induced beast which powers the Polo GT but give it the beans and the world transforms. The GT TSI takes off with urgency and hits triple digit speeds in a jiffy. While VW claims a 0-100 km/hr time of 9.7 seconds, the best we could record on our VBOX was 10.09 seconds, putting the GT TSI on par with the GT TDI in terms of outright acceleration. The problem with the GT is that the gearbox won’t let it rev more than 1200 RPM at standstill. Thus when you launch the car, there is some bit of lag which robs crucial milli seconds from the 0-100 km/hr time.

As the above table shows, the GT TSI is faster at the top-end thanks to it having a good punch near the redline which comes in quite early at just under 6000 RPM. Although the tachometer shows redline at 6500 RPM, the GT seldom crosses the 6000 RPM mark with only first gear seeing the motor rev till 6200 RPM. There are three driving modes, D for drive, S for Sports and tiptronic function which let’s you shift gears on your own (there are no paddles!). In D mode the gearbox takes it easy, shifting early and as per throttle inputs, on full throttle it swaps gears at around 5500 RPM while in S mode the motor pulls to around 6000 RPM. In manual mode the gearbox remains in the lowest gear and won’t upshift till redline but if you don’t give full throttle, it won’t downshift. Gears will automatically change in manual mode if you fail to do so.

The 7-speed DSG unit offers slick shifts and shows the urgency you would want from a performance car. The Turbocharged Stratified Injection is itself fast revving and becomes audible post 3000 RPM, creating an addictive note post 4500 RPM. 100 km/hr comes up in third gear and you can comfortably cruise in top gear at 100 km/hr with the tachometer ticking in at just 2100 RPM. The vehicle pulls very quickly to 140 km/hr (it does 150 km/hr in fourth gear) and post that progress is a bit tamed although given the road, the GT TSI will easily top out at 190 km/hr. When you turn on the car, the cluster reminds you to put your foot on the brake to engage gear, in spite of that one can change between N, D and tiptronic without touching the button on the lever. With our heavy foot and redlining day and night, the GT TSI returned a respectable mileage of 9 km/l. Driven sedately, this car will easily give double digit numbers. For more info on Volkswagen Polo GT  check Aryavarta

Volkswagen Polo GT Driving

The Volkswagen Polo GT TSI also gets ESP which prevents wheel-spin although this system isn’t really required on this car since power is fed in a smooth manner. There is also hill hold which isn’t of much use on an automatic car. The GT TSI is lighter than the GT TDI and is less stiffer too, the softness of the suspension being very noticeable when you hit a bump, the tendency to bounce a bit and leave its line is there. There is less understeer though and ride quality is excellent. The steering is quick but could do with more feedback, more so considering the GT is a performance model. Braking performance is excellent and the car stops dead in its track at any given speed (the hazards turn on when you stand on the brakes). How To Expand Your Facebook Reach

Digital Marketing Company

Ever since Facebook began its EdgeRank system in an attempt to make money, they have begun making subtle changes to the way content is being viewed by its users. What does this mean for the small business owner who is trying to use Facebook as a way to reach more customers for free? It means that they have to be more creative than ever and expand their reach on the social media giant.

But how can you do that, you ask? The first, and easiest, thing you can do is to write engaging content. Sound familiar? It should, as quality, engaging content is what will make customers take notice of your business and want to learn more about your products or services. For web design services in Hyderabad visit Vivid Design Consultants.

Giving potential customers valuable information is important, but don’t forget to throw in some questions or opinion polls to get them talking and sharing their ideas with each other and your company.

Another method you could employ is to encourage your customers to add your fan page to their interest list or ask them to click the “receive notifications” option in their settings. To many, this move may seem very forward, but in actuality, it’s not. In fact, a higher percentage of new customers say they don’t mind being asked by a company to like their page or sign up for special offers.

If asking your customers to like your pages bothers you, you could always invest in some promoted posts or paid advertising offered by Facebook and go that route. Promoted posts are relatively inexpensive and give you the opportunity to reach more of your total fan base and non-fans, too. For SEO Company in Hyderabad visit Vivid Digital

You can decide how much you want to spend and when you want to spend it. You could even use the promoted posts as a tester and see what gets a better reaction from potential customers before spending a lot of your advertising budget.

The paid Facebook advertising gets you great visibility but does tend to cost a bit more. With this method, you do get better control over your ads and you can be assured that more people will see them and potentially click on them. You can target a particular audience, space out your ads and even set weekly spending limits for your advertising.

You could even try both of Facebook advertising methods at the same time and see which one works better for you. Many people choose to run both methods all of the time and just direct them at different audiences. Whichever route you choose, knowing ahead of time what you intend to get out of the advertising campaign is important. For more info on SEO services visit Ibin

Try one, or try them all; only you can decide which method you choose, but then it will be up to your customers to choose the one that is most effective at grabbing their attention.
