Honda BR V Performance & First Drive

Honda BR V Overview

The BR-V is Honda’s new small SUV for India. It’s an all-new model but comes built on the same platform as the Honda Brio, Amaze and Mobilio models. In case you are wondering, BR-V expands to ‘Bold Runabout Vehicle’ and Honda has no pretensions in admitting this is a car meant for an urban clientele. Those looking for something with mud-plugging ability had better look elsewhere. Not to say the BR-V is an exception. Rather, it fits right into a market segment where off-road prowess is rarely ever a consideration for buyers. You are probably already familiar with the Hyundai Creta, Maruti S-cross, Renault Duster and Nissan Terrano that the BR-V will take on, so let’s get straight to it and see where and how the Honda hopes to differentiate itself.

ubvvn.org.in

The first thing of note is its length. With a length of 4,456mm, the BR-V is the longest of the small SUVs and by quite a margin. For perspective, a Hyundai Creta measures 4,270mm from end-to-end. Second, the BR-V is not immediately identifiable as a Brio, Amaze and Mobilio platform mate, at least when viewed from the front, and that’s a good thing. The BR-V’s squared-out bonnet, angular headlamps and chrome-rich two-part grille has given it a bespoke face and it looks all the better for it. However, see it in profile and you could mistake it for a Mobilio; the upward shoulder line and distinctive kinked window line are shared with the MPV. View offers on Honda Cars from Honda dealers in Hyderabad at Autozhop.

Honda BR V Style

Does it look like a Mobilio on steroids? Umm, not entirely. The face and the rear look nothing like the Mobilio. However, the side profile, especially that kink in the window line, makes it look awfully similar. The Honda BRV shares its platform with the Amaze compact sedan and the Mobilio MPV. We’re glad it shares just the platform and not the looks. The face looks inspired from the new Accord, incorporating neat elements, such as projector headlamps with LED light guides and a thick double slat chrome grille. We like the finer aspects such as the detailing in the headlamps, the aggressive creases on the bumper and the silver skid plate. All these work well together to give the BR-V a likeable front profile.

The side and the rear are slightly bland in comparison. The 16-inch alloy wheels look great in isolation. However, pair them with the sheer length of the BR-V and it tends to look lost and rather small. We think a set of 17-inch alloys, like the Creta, would’ve filled in the wheel arches beautifully and given the BR-V a more balanced side profile. It gets a healthy dose of creases here as well and does remind one of the Mobilio. The matte-black cladding, flared wheel arches and the roof rails grab a lot of attention. They do their bit to lend the BR-V the rugged appeal that its potential customers want. I for one, love the connected tail-lamps. Look closely and you will find LED light guides in them too.

Honda has played the length card with the BR-V. It is by far the longest vehicle in its class. However, it isn’t as wide. The Honda is 45mm narrower compared to the Creta, and a full 87mm narrower compared to the Duster. While this was a boon in certain narrow bylanes of Udaipur, we wish the car was slightly wider. The added width would have not only liberated more space inside but also contributed to giving it a butch stance. To sum up, the ‘van meets SUV’ design is a mixed bag. It looks great from certain angles, such as the front three-quarters, but ends up looking drab and mini-van like from the rear. Honda has somehow managed to stitch it all together into one neat package.

Honda BR V Space

This is the area where BRV truly scores big. A large cabin with a very good all round visibility makes it a nice place to be in. Our test car was an older version and hence lacked a touch screen with reverse parking sensor making it difficult to slot it in tight parking places while reversing. Even the Bluetooth pairing was a bit cumbersome when compared to similar feature in other modern cars, but thankfully Honda has addressed both these issues in the newer versions.

The highlight of the car is the space available for the fellow passengers, be it the second row seat with features like front & back seat slider and backrest recline adjustments, or the third row seat which can actually accommodate full size adults, unlike the other seven seaters available in the market. For the comfort of the third row passenger, Honda has also provided the seat recline feature here and small storage spaces are provided for improved convenience on long hauls.

The single touch tumble feature for the second row seats, ensure easy access to the last row seats. Also, the split seat folding for both rows provide the user with multiple options for storing tricky luggage in the car. This is particularly useful when you don’t trust a courier guy on safe transit of fragile lightweight stuff, over short distances e.g., delicate and voluminous articles like large canvas paintings, glass artefacts or any other simple household item needing careful handling. Honda BR V Gearbox

As expected, the BR-V for India will be available with three powertrain options with power channelled solely to the front wheels. There will not be any all-wheel-drive version. The mainstay of the BR-V range will be the diesel model that comes powered by Honda’s 1.5-litre, i-DTEC engine. While there were indications the engine would be tuned for more power on the BR-V, it continues to make 100hp and 200Nm; same as on the Honda City, Jazz and Mobilio. However, refinement sees an improvement. The engine runs a lot quieter than it does on the other Hondas and the note is also less industrial. That said, the diesel BR-V is still noisier than the Creta and even the Renault Duster.

Performance from the diesel engine is good with plenty of pulling power from very low in the rev band. Where the engine does feel slightly different now, is in its willingness to rev more freely. The engine still doesn’t excite, but there’s more of a powerband to play with. Another nice feature is the smooth-shifting six-speed gearbox that’s allied to a light clutch, both of which help make the BR-V diesel an easy car to drive in town. Diesel BR-V buyers can also expect good fuel economy. The ARAI-tested fuel efficiency figure of 21.9kpl makes this version of the BR-V the most fuel-efficient model among the small SUVs. Before you ask, no, there will not be an automatic version for the diesel.

The other engine of choice will be Honda’s 119hp, 1.5-litre, i-VTEC petrol engine. This engine will be available with both manual and automatic gearbox options. Interestingly, the manual gearbox is a new six-speed unit rather than the five-speed one the petrol City and Mobilio come with. Honda insiders haven’t confirmed if this gearbox will make it to the other Hondas as well, but it’s something to expect in the near future. The petrol manual BR-V’s ARAI-tested fuel efficiency is 15.4kpl while the petrol automatic’s figure is slightly higher at 16kpl. The BR-V automatic that is likely to interest urban buyers uses a continuously variable transmission (CVT). Drivers have the option to manually operate the gearbox via steering-mounted paddles which is a first-in-class feature.

The CVT-equipped BR-V does feel nice and responsive for city use. Initial responses are good and pottering around town is a smooth and relaxed affair. But press down hard on the accelerator and you get that rubber-band effect CVTs are notorious for. The gearbox has the engine hold revs until speeds build and this also brings out the engine’s noisiest side. The otherwise smooth engine sounds gruff when this happens, and seems especially thrashy close to the 6,500rpm. Drive with moderate throttle inputs and you’ll like the CVT a lot more. Enthusiasts will like the option of the paddle shifters that work without any delay and let you shuffle between the gearbox’s seven ‘steps’. However, due to the characteristics of the CVT setup, you don’t get the same sort of connect you would with a traditional automatic or dual-clutch transmission.

Honda BR V Driving

The BR-V’s ride is forgiving and absorbs most of the undulations our roads will ever throw at it. It is stiffly sprung, but not up to the point where the ride becomes jarring. At low speeds, the 210mm of ground clearance and the India-friendly suspension dismiss the potholes and broken roads without a hiccup. The ride is slightly bouncy at the second and third row but is tolerable for shorter journeys.

Handling has been the Japanese carmaker’s forte for long. The steering weight and feel are just about right. It is wonderfully light at low speeds letting you chuck the thing around with a finger. However, the turning radius is gigantic thanks to the length. Taking a U-turn is a task in itself. Other than that, the BR-V is sure-footed and doesn’t mind being thrown around a series of bends. There’s enough feedback that gives you the confidence to push it through the corners as well.

Honda BR V Safety

The braking system of Honda BR-V features disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear. The ABS with EBD is used as a standard in all variants except the petrol E variant. The body shell is made strong with ACE body structure and front dual airbags are introduced in all variants for complete safety of the occupants.Braking duties are taken care of by disc brakes at the front, and drums at the rear. Braking power is adequate and the SUV doesn’t nose dive a lot under heavy braking and manages to maintain its line as well. Safety is taken care of by dual airbags that are standard across the range.

Honda BR V Cost in Hyderabad

Honda Brv On-Road Price in Hyderabad ranges from 10,46,963 to 15,65,132 for variants BRV E Petrol and BRV VX Diesel respectively. Honda Brv is available in 9 variants and 6 colours. Below are details of Honda Brv variants price in Hyderabad. Check for BR V price in Hyderabad at Carzprice.

Honda BR V Conclusion

In the last three months Honda BRV travelled with us for a total distance of over 5000 kms. During this period we did not come across any technical glitch barring a minor failure of internal air circulation switch, which got rectified promptly by the local dealership. The BR-V worked with us like a loyal horse without the regular whine and complaints. It returned a very good city mileage and could carry seven occupants with ease offering reasonable comfort even for the third row passenger. Overall we found Honda BR-V to be a sensible and trouble free buy for someone looking for a large family car offering comfort, reliability and a bit of status for the owner. While its not exactly ideal for long distance travel, it fit in well for daily usage and also your weekend getaways.

Skoda Superb Facelift Review & Test Drive

Skoda Superb Overview

Skoda is a premium car brand in India and the company has been offering the Superb for its King customers. The Superb had grown old and felt old in front of the competition. But now, Skoda has the new-generation Superb that will break the monotony and add new freshness. We lay our hands on this new Superb and find out if it has the aspects to gain more customers.

bioinformatica.in

Skoda like that is a little different. Right from their inception, they have been around only towards the luxury end of things. Even the Fabia when launched had luxury features, which were unheard of in a hatchback, and that trend has stayed true till today. The Skoda Superb which is the car in question here, also made its mark by offering luxury and space offered in higher segments at a way lesser price tag. And now after multiple updates, we finally have the all-new Superb, which is all set to raise the benchmark even higher. View offers on Skoda Cars from Skoda dealers in Hyderabad at Autozhop.

Skoda Superb Style

One of the biggest issues with the last-gen Superb was its design. While it looked elegant, the stretched look made the overall design a little awkward. The new car is anything like its predecessor. Chief Designer, Jozef Kaban has totally transformed the car from something that you would consider buying to something extremely desirable. While it’s got the family design traits from the smaller Octavia, there is no mistaking the proportions. The stretched look is gone and the car now boasts a very cohesive design. Lots of angular contours and dynamic lines give it a sharp look.

The front looks unmistakable Skoda thanks to that moustache grill and those intricately designed angular headlights look fabulous. The side profile give out the car’s huge 2841 mm wheelbase (in comparison a Mercedes-Benz E-Class is marginally longer at 2874 mm) thanks to the large glass area, but still looks extremely proportional.

The 17-inch wheels look fantastic in both Style and L&K trim. The rear too looks fantastic thanks to the interaction between the convex and concave forms, which creates a striking interplay of surface light. The new LED tail lights fit in perfectly too. The lower part of the bumper now gets a faux diffuser and completely hides the exhaust. Overall we love how the new car looks. It’s the right blend of sporty and elegant unlike the last car, which had a way more functional design.

Skoda Superb Space

Comfy. Yes, the Superb’s calling card has always been seat comfort, specifically at the rear where the seats are large and offer good support. The new Superb’s seats are similar to those of the Octavia, but here, they get an extension for greater thigh support, so you are more comfortable, and the cabin is wider as well, which makes the rear feel more roomy and less constrained. And Skoda’s footrests that are attached to the floor with Velcro, work pretty well too. Sitting in the middle at the rear isn’t extremely comfy though. It’s much narrower, the seat is significantly harder, and as always, you are seated a bit higher up, putting you closer to the roof. And then there’s the large central tunnel to contend with.

The rear AC vent blower has its own temperature control, but there’s no blower control and no ‘B’ pillar vents as on the earlier car, so the big cabin does tend to get a bit stuffy unless you adjust the blowers up front correctly. It, however, does get three-zone climate control and the system also has a humidity sensor that prevents the interiors from fogging up. As the Superb is based on VW’s MQB platform, Skoda has used many common parts on the inside, and this does tend to make it feel not so special in a few areas. The design looks a bit too similar to that of the Octavia, the center console, steering wheel and instrument panel are similar and though these bits are attractive in their own right, they don’t always feel special enough to be on this car.

Being a Skoda, there are a few clever touches in the cabin, like the bottle holder that can grip the bottle, allowing you to open the cap. Another feature is the boot release – if the key is on you, all you need to do is place your foot below the bumper (where the sensors are) and the boot swings open. There’s also a system that prevents the tall hatch from fouling garage ceilings (it limits the opening height). The boot itself is a huge 625 litres that can be extended to 1,760 litres with the rear seat-back folded down. And there are other useful features such as a side luggage box, loads of hooks and the option of cargo nets. For Skoda Superb visit origo2000.com

Skoda Superb Engine

The Skoda Superb comes with a 1.8-litre turbo petrol engine that churns 178bhp of power and 320Nm of torque for six-speed manual and 250Nm for seven-speed DSG. The second option is 2.0-litre that churns 175bhp of power and 350Nm of peak torque. This comes only with a six-speed DSG.The NVH levels are fairly low as there is a lot of insulation inside. The power of this engine is good and there is sufficient power in these engines to drive in city or even on the highway. Overtaking is a breeze. The L&K variants come with paddle shift that make it easy to change gears. The automatics have sport and tip tronic modes too. Then another driving mode to set your steering wheel, throttle response and transmission in Eco, Dynamic, comfort modes with the last being individual, where the driver can decide and change aspects as per requirement.

You also have the option of a 7-speed DSG gearbox, which gives you the convenience of an automatic but then with this gearbox you get 250 Nm of torque on hand as compared to 320 Nm in the manual. This does show a little when you need the thrust and use the paddles on the steering to downshift and use all the revs because of that slight deficit of torque. But then you do get one of the quickest shifting gearboxes out there. With the DSG variant you also get to choose between different driving modes depending upon the kind of usage. Overall, the 1.8 TSI comes across as a smooth and refined engine that offers very good performance and is decently frugal when you choose to cruise.

Skoda Superb Driving

The Superb is meant for comfort and it does very well on that front. The ride quality is supple and absorbs most undulations with aplomb. The suspension feels extremely taut but never uncomfortably so. Skoda knows how to set up the suspension and it shows. But make no mistake, this isn’t just a straight-line cruiser. We were confronted with a barrage of corners en route Madikeri and the Superb was an absolute blast. Skoda informed that they have a new differential set up which helps vastly to get optimum traction. We can vouch that it works. Even with its generous dimensions the Superb had no problems stitching corners. Body roll is minimum and the car goes through the corners extremely flat. Very impressive!

Skoda Superb Safety

The car gets a five star rating in the Euro NCAP that says enough about the safety standards this car meets. Skoda Superb features include lane assist, adaptive cruise control system, park assist that further extend the safety. You get Skoda’s crew safety system which closes windows and tightens belts if the system detects an imminent dangerous scenario.

Skoda Superb Cost in Hyderabad

Skoda Superb On-Road Price in Hyderabad ranges from 29,81,606 to 38,51,213 for variants Superb Style 1.8 TSI MT and Superb L and K 2.0 TDI AT respectively. Skoda Superb is available in 5 variants and 6 colours. Below are details of Skoda Superb variants price in Hyderabad. Check for Superb price in Hyderabad at Carzprice.

Skoda Superb Conclusion

We can’t think of a big enough reason not to. Sure, the touchscreen is small at 6.5 inches (people have phones bigger than this today) and it misses the in-built navigation. The instrument dials are a bit plain-looking and the dash, in general, looks like an Octavia. But look at these against the Superb’s sheer size, entertaining engines, excellent ride, and the space and equipment that’s ahead of what other manufacturer’s offer and it’s hard not to like this car. And if you are still sitting on the fence, Skoda has even priced this car competitively, which is why making a case against it will be really quite difficult.

Renault Kwid Hatchback First Drive

Renault Kwid Overview

When Renault launched the Kwid in India few years back, not many people knew that this small car with SUVish styling elements will turn out to be a fairly successful model for the French automaker. The Kwid has gained a lot of popularity in the Indian market and it draws sales thanks to the package that it offers. Now, the automaker has launched the 2018 Kwid which is nothing but a mid-life refresh where the interiors get more equipment while the outside makes do with minor tweaks. View offers on Renault Cars from Renault dealers in Hyderabad at Autozhop.

ubvvn.org.in

Renault Kwid Style

The KWID has attracted lots of attention because of its Crossover kind of a styling which set it apart from the rest of its competition. The SUV’ish character with added muscle surely makes this hatchback appear more like a Crossover.

The KWID Climber edition which was showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo like we already mentioned above looked more brawny with the addition of a restyled bumper which also houses two fog lamps. The Climber variant will also get faux skid plates towards the front. The car showcased at the Auto expo received a tweaked front grille while the headlamp unit also gets a protective casing. However, we don’t think the protective casing and tweaked grille will be continued in this special edition model.

Walk towards the side profile and you won’t possibly notice any changes made to the side profile however the concept which was showcased at the expo features bigger and chunkier wheels. The pronounced wheel arches and the plastic skid plates are also continued on the production variant of the KWID Climber. Towards the rear profile the KWID Climber which was showcased at the Auto expo gets a protective covering for the rear taillamps while the rest of the rear profile looked identical to the KWID hatchback. The rear profile also gets a tweaked rear bumper and skid plates. This was a concept variant which was showcased at the show expect the production variant of the hatchback to lose some of its brawny characteristics.

Renault Kwid Space

On the inside there are absolutely no changes, so you get the same minimalistic yet smartly styled dashboard. The snazzy digital instruments further add to the modern look and the large speedo display is easy to read on the move. As before the seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system dominates proceedings. This system is not only unique at this price point, but it also gets features like navigation system that is unheard of even in cars that sit two segments higher. We also liked the ergonomic AC controls, which are nice and chunky, and the Aux/USB ports for the music system are conveniently placed too.

The only difference on the inside is the lack of a gearlever. Instead, you get a rotary knob placed on the centre console next to the power window switches. In terms of the quality the Kwid’s cabin looks budget with hard but durable plastics all round and panel gaps are inconsistent too. The Renault’s cabin though is quite practical and front passengers enjoy loads of storage spaces and you also get an extra bottle holder where you would have found the gear lever otherwise. But, at the rear there are absolutely no storage spaces except for the rear parcel tray, which is disappointing.

Despite its diminutive size the small Renault is surprisingly spacious. Visibility out of the high mounted front seats is really good and the high bonnet gives you a feeling of being astride an SUV. The front seats are surprisingly good despite limited bolstering. But, they are perched too high up as headroom is limited especially for six foot plus drivers. The backseat is a real highlight and the generous kneeroom, long squab and well-angled backrest makes it a nice place to be in. The boot at 300 litres is humongous and it will gobble your weekend’s luggage easily. For Renault Kwid check industrynewswire.in

Like the Kwid 1.0-litre, the AMT equipped car will be available in just the top RxT and RxT option variants. You get front power windows, aircon, power steering, and a touchscreen infotainment system that houses features like Navigation, Aux-in/USB ports and a radio. Where convenience equipment impresses, the safety features leaves us a bit disappointed. You just get a single driver side airbag and that’s it. We would have liked Renault to offer ABS at least as an option on the automatic variant and the rear passenger seatbelts aren’t even inertia reel type.

Renault Kwid Engine

No changes have been made under the hood of the Renault Kwid. There is a 799cc petrol engine that produces 53 HP and 72 Nm. This 3-cylinder unit offers decent performance in the city but feels underpowered when you try to pick up speeds on the highway. It is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox which offers light shifts and the clutch is equally light too. On the fuel efficiency front, this engine delivers anywhere between 17-21 km/l. This engine isn’t offered with an AMT gearbox.

The other engine on the Kwid is a 999cc petrol unit and this is also a 3-cylinder engine. This churns out 67 HP and 91 Nm. In comparison to the smaller engine, this one feels peppier and livelier. In city driving, the performance increment is instantly noticeable and the Kwid feels responsive. On the highways, the car has enough grunt to reach 100 km/hr but if you intend to do very high speeds, the engine may not feel up to the mark. The Kwid 1.0 is also very fuel efficient giving out 16-20 km/l. The 1.0-litre engine gets a 5-speed AMT too which increases the convenience quotient by a huge extent and even though the shifts aren’t exactly lag-free, you can’t expect much at this price.

Renault Kwid Driving

Thanks to the great visibility, compact size, small turning circle and light controls, the Kwid is easy to punt around in traffic. This, combined with the absorbent low-speed ride, makes the Kwid a very potent urban tool. The suspension works silently too with well controlled body movements. At higher speeds a rough patch does make the light weight Kwid a bit skittish and this nervous feeling forces you to exercise a bit more caution. When it comes to handling, driven at moderate speeds the Kwid shows good composure. But, this isn’t car to hustle around, as the vague steering and considerable body roll (Kwid doesn’t get antiroll bars) doesn’t inspire much confidence. What also affects the balance of the Kwid AMT is if there is a gearshift while you are pushing in a corner. The slow upshifts tend to push the weight to the front wheels, which in turn, make the rear of the car feel nervous.

Renault Kwid Safety

The KWID edition will get driver airbag as standard while the passenger airbag could be provided as an option. Unfortunately, it won’t be getting either ABS or EBD.You get front power windows, aircon, power steering, and a touchscreen infotainment system that houses features like Navigation, Aux-in/USB ports and a radio. Where convenience equipment impresses, the safety features leaves us a bit disappointed. You just get a single driver side airbag and that’s it. We would have liked Renault to offer ABS at least as an option on the automatic variant and the rear passenger seatbelts aren’t even inertia reel type

Renault Kwid Price in Hyderabad

Renault Kwid On-Road Price in Hyderabad ranges from 3,14,590 to 5,44,945 for variants Kwid STD and Kwid RXT 1.0 O Superhero Edition AMT respectively. Renault Kwid is available in 17 variants and 5 colours. Below are details of Renault Kwid variants price in Hyderabad. Check for Kwid price in Hyderabad at Carzprice.

Renault Kwid Bottomline

The Renault Kwid is a good package and is a popular choice among people who want to buy their first ever car by upgrading from a 2-wheeler. However, the car lacks in the safety department and it scored 0 stars in the NCAP crash tests and it still misses out on ABS and a passenger side airbag. If you’re on a really tight budget and cannot stretch further, go for the Kwid 1.0 but if you think you can spend around Rs. 1-1.5 lakh more, we’d totally recommend getting the Tata Tiago which not only is slightly bigger, but also offers more features, better safety and feels like a well-rounded car.

Land Rover Discovery Facelift Review & Test Drive

Land Rover Discovery Overview

The Land Rover Discovery 2017, the much- awaited SUV, has finally hit the Indian shores. The new design of the Discovery is not as tough and rugged as the old Discovery, but feels really futuristic with that box look being given new curvy edges, sharp looks and a blocky back. The new LED headlamps give it the look of a Range Rover. This new 7- seater Land Rover Discovery gets a completely new aluminum monocoque frame, making it lighter and hence making it more efficient. The SUV still drives like a Discovery, not like a Range Rover or Range Rover sport in any way; it’s all smooth and easy to go with minimal engine noise getting inside the cabin.

ubvvn.org.in

Land Rover Discovery Style

If you happen to be the proud owner of a new Land Rover Discovery and you’re looking to dial up the SUV’s aesthetic appeal, Startech’s new tuning kit may just be the keys to the kingdom that you’ve been looking for, even though the kit is pretty straightforward. On the outside, the program offers plenty of upgrades, beginning with an aerodynamic body kit that includes a new front spoiler that can be attached to the Discovery’s standard front bumper. The spoiler’s design is distinct enough to give the Discovery a new look. The side flaps on the equipment piece are nice visual touches, too, but it’s more important function rests in its ability to reduce the lift on the SUV’s front axle.

The other notable piece of the body kit can be found in the rear section of the SUV, specifically in the rear bumper where a similar add-on component is being offered. It’s admittedly more distressing to the eyes, but it does serve some functions too. Chief among them is the integration of the other elements of Discovery in this section, including the tailpipe embellishers and a center section that Startech describes as looking like an actual diffuser. This particular piece has also some versatility in it since it’s design was done as such that the whole piece can also be fitted on SUVs that have a trailer hitch.

Land Rover Discovery Space

The Discovery’s cabin is all about practicality, one with multiple usable storage spaces. Other than the usual array of glove boxes and door pockets, it gets a large storage box behind the rotary gear selector. There’s even a fairly big cool box under the front armrest which is a really neat feature. Lastly, there’s the hugely configurable seating arrangement in the 7-seater variant as all three rows are electrically adjustable.

Being a tall vehicle, the Discovery offers excellent all-round visibility and a driving position that is more than high enough for that commanding view of the road. As for the seat comfort, the front seats are massive and offer immense side support and even under-thigh support – they are large enough to keep you comfortable for long hauls.

Similarly, there is plenty of room at the back, with a rear bench that is broad and spacious enough to accommodate three adults easily. Thanks to the Disco’s width, there is hardly any jostling for shoulder room or that feeling of being pushed onto the doors. Although the rear bench is set a tad bit low, it is superbly contoured and the low seating translates to plenty of headroom. Sadly, this new model cannot match its predecessor when it comes to third-row seating comfort – the pair of seats is smaller and to make matters worse, there’s noticeably less thigh support.

As for the features, the Discovery is fully loaded and comes with a 14-speaker premium multimedia system, adaptive LED headlights, adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, 360-degree parking, a head-up display, 4-zone climate control, interior mood lighting and a tonne of safety tech. However, we would like to add that a lot of features from the spec list are optional extras.

Land Rover Discovery Engine

The Land Rover Discovery price in India starts from Rs. 68.05 (Ex-showroom, New Delhi) and goes up to more than Rs. 1 Crore if you go for the top-end variant. The new Discovery comes with 2 engine options: 3.0 L turbocharged diesel and 3.0 L supercharged petrol both mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox and being 6- cylinder engines. The Land Rover Discovery specifications for the engine are, 190 bhp of power and 600 nm of torque for the diesel engine, while the petrol engine is sportier, producing 250 bhp of power and 450 Nm of torque. You also get the terrain response with lower gear ratios. For Land Rover Discovery visit industrynewswire.in

The new Land Rover Discovery mileage has gone up due to the loss of weight. The earlier Discovery used to give around 11 kmpl of mileage, while the new one gives around 13 kmpl, which is not bad at as this kind of efficiency and does justice to the Land Rover Discovery price.

Land Rover Discovery Driving

The new Discovery isn’t as nice or sporty to drive as say a BMW X5 but there is no doubting the fact that it behaves noticeably better around corners compared to its predecessor – the steering is less vague and the whole car is more reactive to steering inputs. Make no mistake, the Disco still rolls a lot and feels spongy around corners but it completely demolishes bad roads. It has an inherent ability to iron out even the sharpest of bumps and rutted imperfections with ease. Better still, the jolts typically experienced in full-size traditional SUVs are next to none. All in all, the Discovery remains thoroughly composed at low speeds but at highway speeds, there is constant vertical movement and that wallowy feeling that air suspension-equipped cars are bundled with. Book a test drive for Discovery in Tryaldrive.

A lot of the buyers are unlikely to take their Discovery off-road, but it is reassuring to know that it is more than capable at dealing with rough stuff. As standard, you get a two-speed transfer box that offers selectable high and low range gears. The system offers a standard 50/50 torque split between front and rear wheels, but uses sensors to distribute torque between the wheels depending on slippage. It’s a ‘shift on the move’ system which allows the driver to swap between high and low ratios without having to stop the vehicle, at speeds of up to 60kmph.

Land Rover Discovery Safety

The Land Rover Discovery features really good brakes with one of the best braking systems that allows safe and sound sudden halts, also housing a lot of safety features, like Electronic air suspension Stop/Start technology, Hill Descent Control (HDC) Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electric Power Assisted Steering (EPAS), Electronic Traction Control (ETC), Hill Start Assist, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), Roll Stability Control (RSC), Electric Parking Brake (EPB), Emergency Brake Assist (EBA ), Electronic Brake-Force Distribution (EBD), Gradient Acceleration Control (GAC), front side impact airbags, side curtain airbags and a trip computer. All these features are not available in the basic variants. These safety features are enough to keep you and your family safe and sound.

Land Rover Discovery Cost in Hyderabad

Land Rover Discovery On-Road Price in Hyderabad ranges from 84,78,334 to 1,28,14,497 for variants Discovery S Petrol and Discovery First Edition Diesel respectively. Land Rover Discovery Conclusion

The Land Rover Discovery is a very practical car being the most capable amongst its competitors which are the Audi Q7, Volvo XC90, Mercedes GLS and the BMW X5. It might not be the best in terms of performance among the competition but really gives you more value than the money spent on buying it. The features provided are also unique. Al though it looks smaller than the old Discovery, it is actually is quite similar in terms of size. The engines could have been more powered, but these 3.0 L petrol and diesel engines are really impressive. The Land Rover Discovery images can be seen on the Autoportal website, looking all glorious and ready to conquer terrains.

Services Of Cloud Based: Phone Systems

Virtual phone services

Working with a service provider that can offer latest telephony through a Cloud-based solution is the option most business enterprises are vigorously exploring. With a Cloud-based PBX, the applications and management of the system is totally with the service provider, and voice connectivity made possible over a dedicated or shared IP connection to one or more locations.

If you’ve recently heard about a cloud calling or VoIP cloud and are wondering what these terms mean, you’re not alone. Many people are curious about the new options for Internet telephone service and whether they will be better or more affordable than regular telephone services.

What is a VoIP cloud?

A cloud-based phone system, also known as an Internet phone system, is one of the newest options for phone service. VoIP is short for “voice over Internet protocol.” VoIP services involve using both software and hardware as a medium for Internet calls.

This allows users to make free or low-cost phone calls to anyone on the planet, no matter where that person is or what technology they are using to receive the call. Check for Services Of Cloud Based: Phone Systems in Linkedphone.

A VoIP system also usually offers a variety of free services, such as:

Voicemail.

Call forwarding.

Managing messages.

How Does a Cloud Phone System Work?

Prior to VoIP technology, phone calls were made using the public switched telephone network (PSTN), which was composed of copper wires. With a cloud system, all data is stored on a secure server, also known as a “cloud,” that can be reached via the Internet.

When you speak during a cloud call, your voice is transformed into digital information and sent across the Internet, just like an email, a chat or any other form of data.

What are the Benefits of Choosing a Cloud Based Phone System?

Whether you’re a business owner looking for a new phone system for your company or a homeowner thinking about how to save money on your phone bill, there are a number of reasons you should consider making the switch to VoIP.

1. You’ll Save Money

Making calls using the Internet is much more affordable than using traditional land lines, which range from $15 a month for basic services and up to $50 a month for a long-distance package.

2. Setup is Simple

You’ll save time when getting your new VoIP system set up. No new wiring is required, and once it’s in operation, the system is very low maintenance.

3. Choose Cell Phones or Traditional Phones

You’ll have options when it comes to using your VoIP services. You can use them at your desk with an old-fashioned phone, or you can connect them to your cell phone to make inexpensive calls while you’re on the go. Check for Cloud Based Phone System in seepennywork.in

4. Special Features

Business owners can choose an 800 number as their cloud phone number, making it easy for customers to contact them at no expense. You can also set up advanced options, such as multiple extensions, call forwarding and voicemail management.

Should Your Business Make the Switch to Cloud Calling?

If you run a company, getting a cloud telephone number can be very beneficial. The many options for phone management make it easy to set up a system that works for you, your employees and your customers. For example, if you own a chain business with more than one location, a cloud phone system will make it easy to connect all of your employees and locations using one phone system

.The world we live in has become very technologically advanced, and cloud based phone systems are yet another exciting hint of what’s to come in the future. As we develop and perfect these systems, communication will continue to improve.

Fiat Linea Classic Review & Test Drive

Fiat Linea Classic Overview

Fiat is a great brand name in International market with a lot of contributions to the automobile industry and is certainly got a knack for making high quality vehicles with superior technologies and features. Fiat is also making its name slowly but surely in Indian market with some great projects running for them in pipeline and has already proved themselves with biggies like Punto and Linea. Fiat Linea is one of the most successful sedans in India from the Italian makers and is known for its stylish design, beautiful features and great performance. Recently, making their move towards a better future for the company, Fiat India has launched an affordable version of Linea for the Indian market on September 25, 2013 in Fiat Cafe, New Delhi named as, Fiat Linea Classic. It is placed between the regular Linea and Punto and is devoid of some features of the regular version to lower down its cost. It is a great move from the Italian brand considering the start of festive season in India, which always turned out a profitable and successful season for newcomers like Linea Classic. View offers on Fiat Cars from Fiat dealers in Hyderabad at Autozhop.

ubvvn.org.in

Fiat Linea Classic Style

The Fiat Linea Classic looks like the regular Linea but is devoid of many features. Thus on the exterior side, you will find the front fog lights, alloy wheels, body side moulding, chrome door handles and chrome lining on the doors missing. Now these features do add to the premium touch of the vehicle but the lack of it on the Linea Classic isn’t much of a bother because the car continues to look attractive even in lower trim. If anything, the lack of 15-inch wheels do rob away the beautiful stance of the car. Mind you, the Linea is a long car and by far the longest in its segment (4560 mm length) which means you will always have the feeling of driving something bigger than what you paid for.

Fiat Linea Classic Space

The interior of Fiat Linea Classic is also a symbol of excellence, beauty and comfort which includes all-black upholstery, leather finished power steering with tilt feature and gear shift knob, vanity mirror at front passenger’s side, roof light with dimming effect, rear roof light, collapsible rear sun curtains, a foldable key, adjustable seats, spacious dashboard with all-black finishing, a powerful AC with manual control system by knobs placed on the center console, a digitally interfaced vehicle information computer behind the steering wheel which houses a digital odometer, a real-time mileage indicator, an external temperature indicator, trip activation analytics, a service schedule reminder, a programmable speed limit buzzer, a distance-to-empty indicator and clock date settings, orange back-lit display screens at the dashboard, sunglass holder, front armrest with 3-level adjustment and a glove box, painted inside door handles and a rear armrest with a cup holder and a glove box, power windows with Auto Down feature, remote keyless entry, remote tailgate opening, an integrated quality music system with MP3, CD, an in-built USB port, FM Radio, AUX-in, 6 speakers and a remote control and a boot capacity of 500 litres which can also be increased by folding the rear seats.

Fiat Linea Classic Engine

When Fiat launched the Linea Classic, we all were skeptical about how it would perform as the 1.3-litre Multijet diesel engine only outputs 75 BHP of power and 190 Nm of torque, which is down on the regular Linea’s 90 HP and 209 Nm. Considering the regular Linea isn’t quick and the Linea Classic also weighs as much, we were expecting disappointing performance. However the Linea Classic has surprised us with the way it moves. The engine lacks VGT which has somehow become a blessing for the car in city conditions. Unlike the VGT equipped Linea diesel, this lower output motor has turbolag well contained which gives it slick performance in the city. For more info on Linea Classic visit industrynewswire.in

The Linea Classic’s mill is very tractable and power delivery is linear. You will never feel the lack of ponies in city conditions. Want to amble around town at 20 km/hr, sure you can do that in third gear without a hitch. 100 km/hr comes up in third gear near the redline while cruising on the highways in top gear at 100 km/hr will make the tacho needle tick at around 2500 RPM. What further complements the Linea Classic’s drivability is the light clutch with a dead pedal although the gearbox is a bit resistant and isn’t a fast shifting unit. One can expect a mileage of 14 km/l in the city and 16 km/l on the highway with 100% AC usage.

The meat of the performance comes between 2000-3500 RPM and post that the Linea Classic’ powerplant really starts to lose breath. NVH levels are good in the lower part of the powerband but once past 3000 RPM, the oil burner starts becoming audible and is very loud post 4000 RPM. The motor itself is very lethargic in the higher end of the power band and redline comes in at 5100 RPM. This isn’t a car you would want to rev hard as there is no top end power. Thus the Linea Classic doesn’t far well in outright acceleration and 0-100 km/hr takes around 18 seconds. You need to downshift on the highways to get going while overtaking.

Fiat Linea Classic Driving

Fiat Linea Classic has drum brakes at rear while disk brakes at front. The suspension system consists of an Independent Wheel with Helical Coil Spring, Stabilizer Bar and Double-acting Telescopic Dampers at front while Torsion Beam with Helical Coil Spring, Stabilizer Bar and Double-acting Telescopic dampers at rear. The safety of the passengers is also an important issue for which it has ABS with EBD, high tensile steel frame, early crash sensors, crumple zone, reinforced bodywork, Anti-theft engine immobiliser with rolling code, central and automatic door locking, programmable speed limit indicator, double crank prevention system, a digital indicator if the door remained open accidently, fire prevention system, Follow Me Home headlights, driver seat belt warning light with buzzer and 3-point ELR seat belts with pretensioners and load limiters.

Fiat has been known for giving a good blend of ride and handling in its cars. The Linea’s mature underpinnings means the Classic rides very well, better than the regular Linea thanks to the higher profile rubber. However handling isn’t as good due to the car being undertyred and the steering lacking the feel you expect from a Fiat car. Sure the hydraulic unit is heavy at low speeds and quick at high speeds but it isn’t feedback rich. There is pronounced body movement at high speed and that really robs away the feel from the car although the Linea remains firmly composed on the highways. Turning radius seems better thanks to the smaller wheels. Brakes are aided by ABS and offer very good stopping power, there is no EBD though.

Fiat Linea Classic Safety

The Fiat Linea Classic feature anti-lock braking system in Classic plus and Classic plus alloy wheel variant of Multijet diesel version. The safety features such as engine immobilizer, double crank prevention system, fire prevention system are available in all Linea Classic variants.

Fiat Linea Classic Cost in Hyderabad

Fiat Linea Classic On-Road Price in Hyderabad ranges from 7,50,061 to 9,47,834 for variants Linea Classic 1.4 L P Classic and Linea Classic 1.3L Multijet Plus respectively. Fiat Linea Classic is available in 3 variants and 5 colours. Below are details of Fiat Linea Classic variants price in Hyderabad.Check for Linea Classic price in Hyderabad at Carzprice

Fiat Linea Classic Conclusion

Overall, Fiat Linea Classic is a great combination of style, beauty, comfort, performance, space and speed but the features being omitted can be a downward point for Fiat as its competitors are providing them in the same price range. But altogether, its performance is better than many of them which make it a formidable competitor. The main strength of Linea Classic is its high-quality engine and strong build quality and the growing service network which was a major setback earlier. And the competitive price tag has certainly given it a good boost in sales figures as well.

How To Choose The Right Social Media Platforms For Your Online Business

SEO Agency in Hyderabad

If you’re starting out with your new business, you know that the only way to get sales/orders is by getting your business some customers. And you also know that a “make and wait” approach never works… if you do that, your business is doomed.

But how do you get customers to know your brand-new business? TV, Print, and Radio Ads are all old school, traditional marketing mediums… way beyond the budget of an average Joe or Jane! Enter – digital media. So effective and cheap, that even the biggest brands are now allocating more marketing budgets to digital media marketing than traditional media marketing. Here’s a rough breakdown of their effectiveness:

Clearly, digital media marketing gives more bang for the buck. Now, let’s dive deeper into one aspect of digital marketing i.e. social media marketing and how you can use the power of social media to boost your brand!

Social media marketing has proved to be a game changer for established businesses and start-ups alike. It is the best and the cheapest way to target the right customers, engage with them, and build a solid brand image for a business. Social media enables targeting broad or narrow audiences and acts as an interactive interface between businesses and prospective customers. For more info visit Digital Marketing Company in Hyderabad

Being active on social media may seem simple enough but creating a brand presence on there is a skill that requires meticulous planning and tactful strategizing. You have to create content that’s worthy of people hitting the “follow” button and you have to find a unique voice that superbly resonates with your audience’s way of thinking.

Every business does not need to be present on all social media platforms to get optimum results. You just have to work to your strengths and be present wherever your audience is! For some, this may mean maintaining a presence on 6-7 social platforms; whereas, for others, a presence on just 1-2 social platforms does the trick!

How to know which platform is suitable for your budding business is crucial. Here’s a quick examination:

1. Facebook

The principal social media platform, Facebook, is used by pretty much every type of business, even if it is just to maintain some online presence. In fact, some small businesses decide not to have a website at all and just use their Facebook page or group to receive orders!

Facebook is great for B2B businesses as it is increasingly limiting the reach of Facebook page posts. So, B2C businesses that spend a lot of time creating the perfect Facebook posts, often times don’t get the expected reach that they deserve. That being said, B2C businesses should still maintain a presence on Facebook in order to get more likes to their brand.

But they don’t need to spend too much energy on the platform. Please note: if you want to market and advertise on Instagram, it is mandatory to have a Facebook page!

Facebook is best for brands into e-commerce; entertainment, news, or media; restaurants and food; travel; and other aspirational or relatable products.

2. LinkedIn

Often referred to as the ‘professional’ version Facebook, LinkedIn allows you to connect with professionals, business people, and thought leaders from various fields. It is designed as a B2B medium and provides the best results for marketing B2B businesses and brands.

If you are a B2B company or a big business, your primary social media focus should be on LinkedIn. Use the platform to connect with more people in your industry as well as thought leaders. You can add value to your brand by using the platform to post compelling content, write articles, read posts and comment on them, help other individuals out, etc. For more details on SEO services check orsp.in

3. Twitter

More than any other platform, Twitter is where the “trends” really happen and guess what – they can change every minute! So, Twitter is great for sharing trending topics and news; opinions; short life updates (if you’re famous); and thoughts and jokes. Twitter also allows users to participate in brand contests and easily find like-minded people to follow. So, if you’re a news or media company, Twitter will work out superbly for you.

This is the same for celebs and internet celebs; journalists; and FMCG companies who want to keep increasing their follower count by hosting several contests and giveaways. Generally speaking, you should be present on Twitter only if you can dedicate enough time to it. With Twitter, you need to react quickly. Jump in on the trends, be the first few people to tweet about a breaking news item, get in on conversations, immediately respond to anyone who tweets to you regarding a complaint or otherwise, and just using the platform continuously for customer service and relationship marketing.

We suggest Twitter to be used by companies who are into FMCG products, e-commerce, service, news and media, celeb management, politics, sports, and finance.

4. YouTube

The second biggest search engine after Google, YouTube has a reach and influencing power that cannot be denied. On YouTube, you can find channels dedicated to fashion, fitness, make-up and hair, Do It Yourself, short films, sketches, knowledge, tutorials, reviews, hacks, news, interviews, and pretty much anything you can imagine that can be conveyed through a video. Just like Facebook, YouTube can be used by both B2C as well as B2B brands for their promotional activities.

Brands into mass appeal content (like those mentioned above) will find that YouTube flourishes for them and pretty much takes care of a lot of content that can be pushed out on other social media platforms too. For high investment purchase brands (like real estate), showcasing their products and services on YouTube helps to build brand awareness and trustworthiness. Potential customers will likely try to find the brand’s videos before making a purchase decision. A YouTube channel will also come in handy for businesses who want to use a video on their website or blog as the videos are usually embedded via YouTube itself.

Maintaining a presence on YouTube may be more expensive compared to other social media platforms due to the high production value of each video. However, video marketing is on the rise and if you can manage the costs in the short run, your investment will definitely be justified in the long run. So, if you can use videos to sell your product/service better, we say you go for it!

5. Pinterest

Pinterest can be very confusing for people who come to the platform for the first time. Allow us to make it simpler for you: Pinterest is basically a digital pinboard that anyone can use to create curated lists for specific folders or “boards”. Let’s say you create a board – “Travel Bucket List”. So, any exciting image you find all over the web and on Pinterest can be pinned to that board. Under this board, you can also create sections.

For instance, create a section “Milan” for your upcoming trip to Milan and save any image you find about what to see / eat in Milan there. You can create as many boards as you’d like to cater to your different interests. You can also upload pictures from your desktop and show off your images or what you’ve tried! It is important to ensure that your pins are visually appealing as the focus on this platform is majorly images.

Pinterest is great for creating mood boards, getting inspiration, or just keeping stuff you like together in one place. So, if you’re a brand that is into photography, e-commerce, weddings and events, D.I.Y. tutorials, arts and crafts, home décor, travel, make up, hair and so on, Pinterest will work well for you. Just make sure to link your pins to your main blog page or website! You can create buyable pins too allowing users to buy your product without leaving Pinterest!

6. Instagram

Like Pinterest, Instagram also focusses on images. Any business that needs to portray their products or services through visuals, has the potential to do well on Instagram. However, investing in a good photographer, good camera equipment, and coming up with good concepts are essential to succeed on Instagram.

You can also go “behind the scenes” using the story feature and save evergreen story content on highlights! Ask yourself: Does my brand needs to communicate through pictures and videos? If yes, you know you have to be on Instagram. Many industries (like FMCG) can use the medium to post creatives and reach out to the large audience present there. They can also conduct contests and giveaways with their followers.

Some of the brands that could succeed on Instagram include those of food and beverages, fitness, fashion, lifestyle, photography, adventure sports, travel, arts and crafts, makeup, hair, etc. Since these are visually appealing brands, Instagram will be one of the key mediums to portray their businesses. Instagram also is a great platform for influencers to build their fanbase and promote themselves to businesses for influencer marketing.

7. Snapchat

Snapchat is a goldmine for businesses targeting millennials. You can advertise on the platform through video ads, filters and paid collaborations with influencers. And, you can use the app more natively by releasing behind the scenes footage, new collections, exclusive promo codes, etc. People who use Snapchat are extremely loyal to the platform and are not heavily influenced by any other platform like Facebook or Instagram.

Companies that cater to the young population’s motivations, habits, and likes must consider Snapchat as an integral part of their social media efforts.

There lies no point in setting up a diverse social media plan if your audience mainly uses only one or two social platforms. A complete study on what mediums your target audience uses is essential to kickstart your marketing plan. It is equally important to study the mediums your competitors are on and find out which platforms are working for them, how they are utilizing it, and so on.

Audi A4 Facelift Review & Performance

Audi A4 Overview

An updated version of the Audi A4 sedan is making the test rounds in Germany, looking every bit like a model that’s on the receiving end of a few facelifts. The premium sedan is expected to be released a little earlier than expected as rumors continue to swirl around the current model’s sales struggles. If true, we can expect the updated Audi A4 to get a quick turnaround date, possibly as soon as the latter part of the year or maybe in early 2019. View offers on Audi Cars from Audi dealers in Hyderabad at Autozhop

ubvvn.org.in

Audi A4 Style

The new generation A4 might not look very different compared to the older car, but make no mistake since Audi has made many significant changes to the sedan and it is a whole new product underneath. The exteriors of the A4 have clean lines and the usual Audi styling is apparent. The front features sharp headlamps with uniquely-styled DRLs along with the imposing Audi grille. The side profile is neat but I really wish the automaker provided better-looking alloy wheels. The rear again has a premium appeal to it but what catches the eye are the dynamic turn indicators which look simply beautiful. The diesel variant comes with a dual exhaust setup, unlike the petrol trims.

Audi A4 Space

The Audi A4’s interior received wholesale changes only a few years ago so don’t expect the same thing to happen when the facelifted A4 arrives. If anything, there’s a better chance that Audi keeps the whole thing intact because the new design and layout it introduced were derived from a slew of technological developments that preceded it.In addition to its design, the new A4’s interior should also benefit from having the usual array of tech goodies, including the 8.3-inch display that’s sitting atop the dashboard and the new MMI system that’s made up of a suite of new features like navigation, touch capability, LTE connectivity, WiFi, and free-text search function.

If there are changes that can be expected on the facelifted A4, it could manifest in things like turning the heads-up display and the Digital Cockpit into standard equipment. The Bang & Olufsen sound system and the tablets located in the rear section could be also be offered as standard items on the new model. Other than that, it should be status quo as far as the interior of the car is concerned.

Audi A4 Engine

Depending on their choice, buyers can buy the one with a 2 liter, 200 horsepower engine or the one with 3.6 liter and 255 horsepower. Its powerful engine makes driving easy even on bumpy roads. It also has a four link suspension in the front. This makes driving a lot more comfortable. Transmissions are also different for different body types. It can have a continuously variable transmission or an automatic one. Check for Audi A4 in industrynewswire.in

The six speed automatic transmission helps in achieving good fuel economy. Its four wheel drive makes the car very safe. Your trip is safe even in harsh weather conditions or damaged and bumpy roads. The car has various other safety materials too like the anti lock brakes. High quality material is used in the manufacturing of this car. Front and side airbags are present to make the car even safer. The side airbags protect the rear and front occupants. All this gets it quite a high safety rating.

Audi A4 Driving

The Audi A4 has a very good ride and the suspension soaks up bumps with ease. There is no stiffness and the sedan remains fairly composed most of the times. The suspension also feels very silent and there are no unnecessary thuds on sharp undulations too. Talking about the steering, it is direct and precise but lacks feel and even though it provides safe and predictable handling, it just lacks the involvement that rivals in the same segment provide. You can better the steering feel by switching to Dynamic mode which stiffens the wheel. The suspension remains the same in all the modes though. The tyres have excellent grip and even the stopping power is very good.

Audi A4 Safety

Mercedes Benz GLA Class has a strong safety system with the presence of adaptive brake lights flashing, attention assist, LED headlamps, hill start assist and many other features. Mercedes Benz GLA Class comes with Electronic Stability Program (ESP) as well that reduces the chances to over steer and over turn.

Audi A4 Cost in Hyderabad

Audi A4 On-Road Price in Hyderabad ranges from 47,37,624 to 53,72,803 for variants A4 30 TFSI Premium Plus and A4 35 TDI Technology respectively. Audi A4 is available in 4 variants and 5 colours. Below are details of Audi A4 variants price in Hyderabad. Check for Audi A4 price in Hyderabad at Carzprice

Audi A4 Conclusion

The Audi A4 diesel offers a blend of looks, luxury, technology, performance and comfort. It is a very superior package and the German automaker has hit most of the right strings to make it a well-rounded sedan. It isn’t very engaging to drive but makes for a comfortable cruiser and the not-too-big size makes it perfect to potter around the city too. You’ll like the new A4 if you want to go somewhere in style and don’t mind losing out on some of the fun factor to compensate for all the other wonderful things that this Audi has to offer.

What Are The Results Of Your Child’s Evaluation

rbts.in

Once your child goes through the evaluation process, you’ll get a report that explains what the testing showed. There are a number of terms used to report on test results and how tests are scored. Being familiar with these terms can help you better understand what the results mean.

The Importance of Statistics

Statistics is the science of using math to make sense of and interpret large amounts of information. Statistics help evaluators:

A. Organize and present data in ways that are easier to understand. The information can be used to make graphs and charts that show patterns.

B. Describe data in ways that help you see how your child fits into a larger group of people.

C. Draw conclusions from data to get an idea of how best to support your child.

Testing Terms to Know

A number of different terms are used to talk about test results. Knowing what these terms mean is a good start to understanding what your child needs. For Educational Evaluations in US visit UT Evaluators

1. Norm-referenced:

A norm-referenced test compares your child’s scores to the scores of other kids the same age. The “norm group” is a large, random group of kids who have taken the same test.

Their scores are used to determine what’s typical for the age group. For example, on one test, the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC), the average score is 100.

2. Test reliability:

A reliable test is one that would provide the same results every time. That means if your child took the test a few times, the scores would be roughly the same. Longer tests tend to be more reliable than short ones.

For example, the score on a test with fewer questions is more likely to be affected by your child not paying attention to one of the questions. That’s because each question is worth more on a shorter test.

If your child missed one answer on a spelling test of five words, his grade would be 80 percent. If he missed one word out of twenty, his grade would be 95 percent.

3. Standard score:

Most educational tests have standard scores based on a scale that makes the average score 100. But the average always falls within a range. There’s wiggle room (sometimes referred to as “standard error”) in test scores to account for possible mistakes.

So, an average score is actually a range of numbers. For example, if an average score is 100 and the standard error is 15, that means the average is really anywhere between 85 and 115.

4. Standard deviation (SD):

The standard deviation is the average distance (or number of points) between all test scores and the average score. For example, the WISC has an SD of 15 points. Most kids fall between the range of 85–115 points.

One SD (15 points) from the average or standard score (100 in this case) isn’t statistically significant. “Statistically significant” means that the difference isn’t due to chance or error.

So what does this mean? If your child’s score is only one SD lower than the average, the score is still considered average. However, if your child’s score is two standard deviations (30 points) above or below the average, that’s significant.

Keep in mind that 68 percent of the population falls into the average score range between 85 and 115. Anywhere in that range is considered average, although you may see it described as “high average” or “low average.”

5. Percentile:

The percentile shows the proportion of scores that were lower than your child’s score. Imagine your child is one of 100 kids being tested. If your child is at the 75th percentile, it means he scored higher than 75 of the 100 kids tested.

Subtest Scores

Many tests are made up of a number of short tests that look at different skills. Those short tests are called subtests. An achievement test may have subtests for vocabulary, working memory and visual reasoning. Each subtest has its own score.

Sometimes the scores of subtests that look at different pieces of bigger skills are combined. For example, a vocabulary subtest and a language comprehension subtest might be combined to give a “verbal ability” score.

Subtest scores are important. When there’s a big difference in the scores of different skill groups, it can show the specific area in which your child is having difficulty. Check for Educational Evaluations in US here

An Example of an Evaluation Result

The evaluation report will usually have a chart that shows the different types of scores. It will also include information about the reliability of the test and the standard deviations. But it may also have a written interpretation of the results.

For example: Jane obtained a standard score of 85 (-1 SD) on the WISC, which is ranked at the 16th percentile and is classified as low average. This means Jane’s score was below the average score of 100. She scored the same or higher than 16 percent of kids her age in the general population. While her score is still considered to be average, it’s at the low end of the average range.

Putting It All Together

Scores alone don’t tell you what’s going to help your child. The summary and recommendations are where all the information comes together and the evaluator tells you what it means.

The summary and recommendations section helps answer these questions:

A. What does this mean for your child’s ability to learn?

B. Do these results show that your child has learning issues that require special education services?

C. What types of services, ways of teaching, assistive technology and other support could benefit your child? If your child is eligible for special education services, the Individual Education Program (IEP) team will consider the answers to these questions.

D. The more you understand the meaning of scores from educational or psychological evaluations, the better able you are to be an active team participant.
